If you have taken a ferry to Lanyu, assuming you haven't thrown up all over the place, you should see the dainty, adorable Old Lanyu Lighthouse on the small coral reef next to Kaiyuan Port. This is one of the best locations to take photos of Imorod Rock and admire the sunset.
How do you get there?
Please go to the “old port” of Kaiyuan Port, the one on the left and nearest to the gas station. Ride all the way to the end of the port to reach the old lighthouse! There are boardwalks and guardrails along the way, and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach the top, making it an easily accessible scenic destination for everyone.
